Eluoqent description of ‘birthers’, ’18 percenters’, ‘nazi conspirorators’

Reading a case today for law school, I came across this description of a party to the case:
“. . . a woman firmly on the thrall of the belief that (appellees) defrauded her, an idea fixed which, either by reason of eccentricity or an even more serious mental instability, refuses to be dislodged by the most convincing proof to the contrary. Willing v. Mazzocone (1978) 482 Pa. 377, 380, 393 A.2d 1155, 1157.
I believe this is a eloquent description of the people in America who will not accept fact as truth no matter what is presented.
